Francesca Blandizzi’s musical journey started at the age of five and has continued ever since. Born in Toronto two years after her Italian parents arrived in Canada, Francesca has sung in Spanish, English and Italian. An accomplished singer as well as a songwriter, Ms. Blandizzi brings a lot of heart to her music both in lyrics and in her performances.

When it comes to the instrument of choice, Francesca Blandizzi chooses neither the guitar, saxophone, or piano. She in fact makes the wise choice of her very own voice, and she can play it to the bone. Hearing her soft, seductive, jazzy voice makes you want the ascot to come back into fashion. There is definitely a certain class that Francesca brings when seeing her in a live performance. Her presence, and vocal arrangements can send the dingiest places back in time, and make you feel like you are immersed in a posh jazz club from the 1920s. With such songs such as Stray Cat and Red Wine it's not hard to have her songs on "repeat" to capture that beautiful feeling time and time again.
